David P. Suich

David is a tax, business formation, transactional, and estate planning and administration attorney. He handles numerous matters pertaining to individual, family, business, and governmental entity taxation at the federal, state, and local levels, including estate planning, transactional planning, and litigating tax controversies. He also handles related legal matters pertaining to business and real estate law. David’s clients range in size from individuals to families and closely held businesses to large corporations. Having previously worked for a large law firm and a large international accounting firm, he has extensive experience relating to business formation and operations, asset protection, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning and litigation, and family wealth planning strategies.

David’s approach to tax and estate planning is comprehensive and he considers the business, family, or individual objectives first. He has individually provided for all of certain clients’ tax requirements and also has worked collaboratively with other tax and estate planning professionals, such as accountants, investment and insurance advisors, and various valuation experts to provide tax and estate planning services for his clients.

David was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1997, the North Carolina bar in 2007, and the Kentucky bar in 2008.  He was also admitted to the U.S. District for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio, the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Tax Court in 2001.  He received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire, summa cum laude, in 1983 and his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1997 and 1998 respectively.
