Matthew J. Barbato

Matthew J. Barbato is a graduate of Xavier University and the University of Dayton School of Law who has practiced domestic relations and family law for over 20 years. He has previously been certified as a Guardian Ad Litem in the State of Ohio. Attorney Barbato has litigated family related matters, including divorce, in Greene County Domestic Relations Court and the Greene County Juvenile Court, along with Courts throughout the State of Ohio. In 2023, Attorney Barbato became the Prosecutor for the Fairborn Municipal Court, serving the communities of Fairborn, Bath Township, Beavercreek and Beavercreek Township. His responsibilities include litigating traffic and non-traffic misdemeanor offenses. Attorney Barbato is a member of the Greene County Bar Association, serves as Counsel for the CASA program with the Greene County Juvenile Court, and is a member of the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
