Michael P. McNamee
Michael P. McNamee concentrates his legal practice in municipal law, public sector law, complex commercial litigation and transactions, construction, commercial real estate, zoning, and eminent domain. He is equally confident and adept in the courtroom and the boardroom, handling business, transactional, and litigation matters with ease.
Michael’s unique skill set follows from serving as Law Director for the City of Englewood, City of Fairborn, and City of New Lebanon and as counsel to many businesses and major real estate developers.
Michael has extensive background in structuring large-scale commercial transactions, including drafting multi-layered contracts and negotiating complex agreements. His litigation experience encompasses state and federal cases at the trial and appellate levels and includes jury trials, bench trials, arbitration hearings, and mediations. Michael’s construction and real estate law experience stems from his legal counsel to those clients referenced above and such real estate developers as the Oberer Companies, Synergy Development, Ltd., and Arnold Development.
Michael received his B.S. in Engineering from West Virginia University in 1980, his M.B.A. with Honors from the University of Notre Dame in 1983, and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati in 1990.
